March 8th Ceremony

On March the 8th we held a double initiation ceremony and welcomed a Joining member from Scotland.

The Initiates were, Brother Ross Davies and Brother Karl Negele. The Joining member was Brother James Docherty from Crawfurdsburn Lodge Greenock No. 1121

An excellent ceremony was performed by our Officers led by our Worshipful Master W.Bro. Dylan Roberts on his first ceremony.

This was followed by a superb after proceedings.at which our Charity Steward W.Bro. Richard Stephens(Dick) gave a very interesting talk on the charities we have supported, in particularly the Masonic Home in Porthcawl, with which Kenfig Lodge has a special affiliation, after which many Brethren decided to become life friends of the home and several committing to renewing or signing up to a mandate to our Charity Chest, well done Richard.

He also suggested that maybe we should consider a visit to Bro. James’ Mother Lodge in Scotland, some time in the future. This was met with considerable approval from the Brethren present
